Scope of Application
The dedicated surveillance surge protector is used for surge protection of power/network/2-in-1 surveillance transmission devices with RJ45 terminal connections.
Installation and Maintenance
1. The series of dedicated surveillance surge protectors are installed directly in front of the protected equipment (or system), and should be placed as close as possible to the protected device during installation.
2. The surge protector can be fixed to a wall or inside a protective enclosure using screws or 35mm DIN rail, with signal lines connected in series.
3. Connect the "IN" terminal to the lead wire and the "OUT" terminal to the protected equipment (or system). During installation, ensure the wiring at both ends is laid separately and not bundled together to prevent secondary induction.
4. The surge protector grounding should be connected using the shortest possible wire.
5. When installed under appropriate conditions, this surge protector requires no long-term maintenance, only routine system checks. If signal transmission issues occur during use and normal function resumes after replacing the surge protector, it indicates the surge protector is damaged and requires repair or replacement.
